Ron
was born in Kingston, Surrey on 16th
April 1930
He joined
the Army in September 1950 as a National Serviceman. After basic
training he volunteered to become a parachutist and was then
posted to the 1st . Parachute Battalion.
He served
with this Battalion in Cyprus and Egypt.
Sadly Ron
died on 6th January 1998.
